Deborah R. Lush
Deb became associated
with the firm in
September of 2002. She
practices in the areas of
estate planning, business,
retirement plans, and tax.
Deb was born in Washington and has lived in
Salem since 1999. She attended Point Loma
Nazarene College in San Diego, graduating
magna cum laude in 1998. She also attended
a summer term at Oxford University. Deb
graduated seventh in her class at Willamette
University College of Law in 2002. During
school, she was an associate editor of the
Willamette Law Review and served on the
Moot Court Board. Deb also tutored first-year
legal research and writing students, won first
place in the First Year Appellate Competition,
and worked for the firm as a law clerk.
Deb currently serves as Vice-President
for the Board of Directors of the Salem
Leadership Foundation. Previously, she
has also served as a director for the Salem
Nazarene Foundation, the Humane Society
of the Willamette Valley, and as co-chair
of the Salem Chamber’s Leadership Salem
Program.
Deb and her husband, Jonathan (“J.”),
live in Keizer. They have two young sons,
Atticus and Becket. They enjoy an active
lifestyle that frequently has them outdoors
or traveling. Deb also enjoys running
marathons, reading, and jigsaw puzzles.
