Daniel J. Rice
Daniel became associated with the firm in September of 2008. He practices in the areas of real property, business law, creditors’ rights, and litigation.
Daniel grew up in Arizona. He earned his B.S. in journalism from Northern Arizona University, graduating cum laude in 2000. Prior to attending law school, he worked for five years as a reporter for daily newspapers in Flagstaff, Arizona and Fairbanks, Alaska. He moved to Salem to attend Willamette University College of Law and graduated tied for fourth in his class in 2008. While in law school, Daniel clerked for the Oregon Law Commission. He also served as an associate editor of the Willamette Law Review and tutored first-year legal research and writing students.
Daniel and his wife, Julia, spend their free time enjoying the beauty of the Northwest. When not at work, they can be found camping, hiking, and taking scenic road trips.
