About Me

Since I was a child, I was adamant I was going to be a lawyer.  I didn’t appreciate until much later what an honor it would be. Now that I am practicing, I consider it a privilege to hear my clients’ life stories and help them form a plan specific to their needs and values. The law is full of tiny details just waiting to be explored and implemented for the best possible outcome for my clients. Organizing comes second nature to me, and I love that my career allows me to exercise those skills on a daily basis. Most importantly, I love the peace of mind I can provide to my clients. Being able to assure clients that all of their wishes and affairs will be taken care of or assisting loved ones through the process of executing a plan provides a sense of relief and comfort.

I grew up in Carson City, Nevada where I met my husband, Daniel.  I received my bachelor of arts degree with distinction in economics and political science from University of Nevada, Reno in 2011. I moved to Salem to attend law school at Willamette University College of Law. We had always planned to return to Nevada, but we fell in love with the area and couldn’t bring ourselves to leave.  While in school, I was the President of the Willamette University Public Interest Law Project, which provides fellowships for students to work in underrepresented legal areas. I also worked in the Trust and Estates legal clinic, providing no cost estate planning for low income residents. Before joining Heltzel Williams, I worked at a well-respected Salem estate planning firm.

I am an avid scuba diver and a shark fanatic. Daniel and I are always in the process of planning our next great dive. When not in the water, I practice calligraphy or work to create the perfect Bolognese sauce.  Daniel and I have two dogs, Banksy and Delilah, and we all thoroughly enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest together.
