“MY CLIENTS HAVE A VARIETY OF INTERESTS AND PURSUITS both in their personal and work ventures. My goal is to provide a legal solution that harmonizes all of their interests. To produce this, I listen to my client’s needs, maintain flexibility, and provide innovative problem-solving.”

About Me

The spirit of variety and camaraderie that is prevalent in the legal sector blends well with my personal disposition and past experiences. Throughout high school I participated in a variety of organizations including: theatre, humanitarian aid to China, volleyball, yearbook, robotics, street miming troupe, and hosting international students. Then, I attended Western Oregon University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in English. My pursuit of diversified experiences continued while studying for my Juris Doctor degree at Willamette University College of Law. I had the invaluable opportunity to work at the Oregon Department of Justice, Mentor Graphics, Inc. as an in-house law clerk, and the Oregon Community College Association in their lobbying efforts. These experiences provide the foundation that allows me to craft creative solutions for my clients that take into consideration the various business and agency perspectives.

I am so grateful to have had the good fortune to be born and raised in Oregon, enjoying all it has to offer—outstanding food, lush forests, and people with open hearts and minds. When I’m not at work, I like hiking, painting, wine tasting, creating food art, and reading 20th century fiction, although all of these activities are usually interrupted by my rambunctious cat, Larry.

My Legal Work

My practice focuses on employment defense, real estate transactions, trust administration, fiduciary disputes, mediation and arbitration, and general counsel work.

I often meet my clients at the peak of one of their most stressful experiences—being sued. It is my job to reduce my client’s stress; I accomplish that by presenting an initial evaluation and litigation plan, maintaining open lines of communication, and advising my client on their various options, whether that entails offering an initial settlement solution after pleadings and discovery, efficiently resolving the matter through arbitration and mediation, or preparing the case for trial. At all crossroads along the arduous journey of a lawsuit, my goal is to provide clear and thoughtful advice that is tailored to my client’s individual or business needs.

I focus my practice in the following areas:
