Michael C. Petersen
Mike became associated with the firm in September
1996 after spending two years at the Oregon Court of Appeals as
a law clerk to Judge Rick T. Haselton and Judge Mary J. Deits.
His practice consists primarily of litigation and appeals related
to business disputes, creditors' rights, real property and employment
law.
Mike grew up in Montana. He received his B.A.
from Carroll College in Helena, graduating magna cum laude in
1991. He received his law degree from Willamette University College
of Law in 1994, graduating third in his class. While in law school,
Mike clerked for this firm and served as an associate editor of
the Willamette Law Review.
Mike has served as President of the Board of
Directors of the Humane Society of the Willamette Valley. He has
also served as chairperson of his neighborhood association. Mike
and his wife, Carol, spend most of their leisure time outdoors,
downhill skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer with their
three dogs, Farley, Lilly and Ripley.
