David M. Roth
Dave became associated with the firm in March 1994. He practices in the areas of tax and business law, with an emphasis on qualified employee benefit plans. In addition, Dave works in estate planning and agricultural law. He is a member of the Western Pension & Benefits Conference, the Business Law section of the American Bar Association and the Agricultural Law and Tax sections of the OSB.
Dave was born and raised on a farm just outside of Silverton. He graduated cum laude from George Fox College in Newberg, Oregon, with a major in education. He then worked as a teacher in the Salem School District until beginning law school in 1989.
Dave attended Willamette University College of Law, graduating in the top 15% of his class in 1992. While attending Willamette, Dave worked as a law clerk for the firm and was actively involved in Moot Court.
Dave is active in his local church, as well as in several local and professional organizations. Dave and his wife, Dawn, have three daughters.
