Eric Yandell
Eric joined the firm in January 1984 after two
years at the Portland firm of Tonkon Torp and two years at the
Oregon Court of Appeals as law clerk to Judge Robert Y. Thornton.
He studied law in the night program at Lewis & Clark Law School,
graduating fourth in his class in 1979.
Eric majored in English and French at Willamette
University and graduated summa cum laude in 1973. Before college
he spent a year in Belgium as an American Field Service exchange
student. Between college and law school, Eric worked as an estimator
and production control supervisor in the light manufacturing and
timber industries.
He has served on the boards of the Marion County
Bar Association and of the Oregon State Bar's Debtor-Creditor
Section and is a member of the Marion County Dispute Resolution
Committee.
He is married to Nori Cross, Special Counsel for
Judicial Governance and Outreach to the State Court Administrator.
They have two daughters, who keep them in their place.
