“LIFE IS ABOUT LEARNING NEW THINGS about the world we live in, serving others, and embracing new experiences. That is why I chose to be a lawyer.”
Life is about learning new things about the world we live in, serving others, and embracing new experiences. That is why I chose to be a lawyer – because it is dynamic, challenging, and filled with opportunities to learn and serve. It is a privilege to help clients solve complex problems and achieve their goals. Every day, I aim to protect my clients by reducing risk, diffusing conflicts, and identifying creative, positive solutions.
I was born and raised in beautiful Ventura, California. Growing up, I played competitive volleyball and water polo. My family instilled in me a strong appreciation for the outdoors and environmental conservation. I am so grateful for my early exposure to these values and absolutely love exploring the natural beauty of Oregon. After graduating from Cal Poly SLO, I attended Willamette University College of Law. There, I served as Second Vice President of the Student Bar Association and wrote weekly Oregon Court of Appeals and Oregon Supreme Court case summaries for Willamette Law Online. During my third year of law school, I participated in the Willamette Trusts & Estates Clinic. During the Clinic, I worked with clients to develop estate plans that fit their personal needs. The experience was extremely rewarding, and sparked my interest in helping others proactively solve problems.
While at Willamette, I met my amazing husband, Dan. After graduating, he and I spent one year working as law clerks for judges in Anchorage, Alaska. When we weren’t working, we dedicated our time to exploring Alaska’s stunning outdoor playground. Being a law clerk is a temporary position, however. Now, we are establishing ourselves in Oregon and embracing the new adventures that Oregon holds. Hiking, camping, swimming, and paddleboarding are my favorite outdoor activities. I also enjoy visiting National Parks and going to musicals.
